Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation treatment to patients according to the Radiation Oncologist’s prescription. 
• Perform CT Simulation as ordered by the Radiation Oncologist to optimize the patient’s treatment position in comfort and reproducibility
• Utilize the hospital and Radiation Oncology EMR systems to record patient treatment delivery, document patient positioning information, and communicate any pertinent information regarding the patient’s care coordination
• The radiation therapist will ensure a positive and compassionate patient experience by providing support and education 
• Perform daily morning QA on linear accelerators and CT simulator
• Participate in on-call procedure
• Schedule patients for simulation and treatment
• Perform daily billing for treatment and simulation

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved program in Radiation Therapy
• ARRT Certification
• NJ State Licensure in Radiation Therapy
• MR License (preferred)
