Job Summary Under general supervision, administers diagnostic medical mammograms and assists mammography interventional procedures for the diagnosis of disease.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of mammography procedures. 2. Knowledge of age specific needs of patients. 3. Skill in data input. 4. Communication, collaboration, cooperation and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to study and identify physician requests for radiologic procedures. 6. Ability to exercise judgment in selecting and computing machine settings to compensate for patient variances. 7. Ability to produce quality images of delicate anatomical structures.

Education: Completion of a course of study in Radiologic Technology specializing in Mammography as approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required.
Experience: One year experience performing radiographic procedures required.
Credentials: Certificate/License/Registration - Registered Radiologic Mammography Technologist with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) Certification, required. 2. Current Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider Certification/CPR from the American Heart Association, required. All Certifications and Licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.
