JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Vice President of Imaging Services, in collaboration with appropriate interdisciplinary team members, is responsible for assuring that services are provided in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner that enhances patient, staff and physician satisfaction. The AVP will plan, organize and direct all functions and activities including operations, human resource and financial management. They will be responsible to establish goals, objectives, standards of performance and to develop policies and procedures. The AVP will be accountable to interpret policies, standards and regulations to personnel, patients, medical staff and the public.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in a health or business related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of five years of health care experience required with a working knowledge of radiology or cardiovascular services required.
