The Certified Medical Dosimetrist will carry out 3D & IMRT/VMAT treatment planning utilizing RayStation treatment planning system (TPS). Monaco (TPS) will be used for SRS and SBRT in the future. Elekta Infinity linear accelerator will be upgraded in February 2019 with an Agility collimator head. Rad Calc is utilized for second check software. SBRT & SRS treatment planning experience is a plus. Ability to communicate verbally and written with Radiation Oncologist to determine desired treatment parameters are achieved for each patient. Export pertinent information to Mosaiq record and verify system. Able to assist and answer questions in the CT simulator (Toshiba 16 slice) when needed. Knowledge of the handling of radiopharmaceuticals. The candidate will be joining 1.5 Radiation Oncologists, 1 Medical Physicist, 3 Radiation Therapists, and 1 Dosimetrist.

Minimum Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist with the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB). Must have BLS certification. Comprehension of standard radiation therapy techniques; principles of radiation physics; and therapy planning goals and documentation. RT (T) is a plus.
