21st Century Oncology is seeking applications for a permanent full time Board Certified Clinical Medical Physicist to serve within our Southwest Florida markets. The successful applicant would be joining a team of six physicists covering the area from Port Charlotte to Bradenton. There are nine Radiation Therapy Centers that have a variety of linear accelerators, including Varian True-Beams, Trilogy, Tomotherapy, Elekta Synergy, Elekta Versa HD, GE Light Speed CT Units.
The Brachytherapy program uses a Nucletron HDR remote afterloader and Oncentra software for Gyn and prostate treatments. Permanent I-125 seed implantation is also part of our clinical brachytherapy service, utilizing Varian’s Variseed software for pre and post planning. Radiopharmaceutical treatments include Xofigo and I-125 capsules.
Board Certification by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent. Commitment to standards of excellence and a true accountability mindset. Excellent interpersonal skills and initiative. General good health and a level of fitness appropriate to the demands of a busy clinic.
