Christiana Care Health System is looking to hire a full time BC/BE Nuclear Medicine Physician.
The successful candidate will join a team of 3 Nuclear Medicine physicians in the CCHS Department of Radiology. This individual will be involved in a wide variety of general nuclear medicine imaging studies and utilize state-of-the-art PET/CT and SPECT/CT cameras, multiple SPECT gamma scanners and solid-state cameras.
Our dedicated team provides comprehensive general nuclear medicine services, PET/CT for oncologic, neurologic, and cardiovascular applications (including Ga-68 Dotatate, F-18 fluciclovine, and myocardial perfusion with Rb-82), all aspects of nuclear cardiology, in vivo procedures such as blood volume and GFR studies and DXA scans. The physicians routinely perform multiple therapies including I-131 NaI, Lu-177 Dotatate, Ra-223 dichloride, and Y-90 ibritumomab tiuxetan.
This newly hired Nuclear Medicine physician will work closely with interventional radiologists to treat patients with both glass and resin Y-90 microspheres. The group also participates in various tumor boards and provides oncologic consultations as part of multidisciplinary teams at Christiana Care's Helen F. Graham Cancer Center and Research Institute.
BC/BE in nuclear medicine and interested in clinical nuclear medicine as well as teaching cardiology fellows, radiology residents, radiation oncology residents, medical students and nuclear medicine technology students.
Clinical experience in interpreting attenuation correction CT scans.
Currently holding or willing to obtain a Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
Currently holding or willing to become a Certified Clinical Densitometrist.
