OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (PER DIEM) Department: Rehab Services (Occupational Therapy) Schedule: per diem (no committed hours and is not benefit eligible) Shift: day shift Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm
Salary: Grade NE152 ($34.00- $50.26)
Job Details: This is a per diem position. This position has the potential for increased hours on a temporary basis as well. In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, provides therapeutic services including evaluation, treatment, and education. Monitors the treatment activities of COTA's and aides. After one year of experience, may act as student supervisor. Directs treatment activities of OT assistants and rehabilitation techs.
Bachelor's degree or higher degree from an educational program for occupational therapists that is accredited by ACOTE, including the required supervised fieldwork. Passing score on NBCOT exam upon successful completion of fieldwork requirements.
State licensure (or eligible) as an Occupational Therapist, Risk Category #1.
BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
