*Mission Health is seeking a Multi-Modality Imaging Tech: Applicants must be registered in CT, Xray, and Mammography and able to perform bone density scans*
Role Summary: The Advanced Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients. The Advanced Multi-Modality Imaging Technologists are required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex imaging equipment and assist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function without constant supervision to produce superior quality imaging studies. The Multi-Modality Technologist must routinely work within a minimum of three qualifying modalities as directed by department managers/supervisors to meet the specific needs of the departments and be registered in all modalities in which they perform exams. This includes Diagnostic, Mammography, Bone Density, CT, MRI, Nuclear Med, and Ultrasound.
Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JCERT) program.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in a health related profession.
Required License: Must be ARRT registered and hold post primary certification in a minimum of 2 additional qualifying disciplines in which exams will be performed in the role of Advanced Multi-Modality Technologist. Completes requirements for CEU for re-certification. BLS certified.
Required Experience: Previous experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department.
Preferred Experience: Four years previous experience in an advanced discipline.
