We are looking for a dynamic ultrasound technologist to join our team in OB-GYN and pediatric clinics. The technologist will be responsible for routine, emergency, and inpatient gynecologic and obstetric ultrasounds. Due to the high risk nature of our practice, the technologist will be expected to independently perform prenatal scans including but not limited to nuchal translucency screening, Level II detailed anatomic ultrasounds with emphasis on detection and diagnosis of complex fetal malformations, guidance for invasive procedures including amniocentesis and CVS, fetal Doppler studies, 3D/4D exams and emergency/critical care procedures. The technologist will be responsible for preparation of patients for exam/procedures, completion of OB US examinations using AIUM criteria for exam content using ALARA principles, US report generation and completion of US components in EMR, and care/cleaning of US machine and US probes. We are looking for someone who will work with our staff and MFM providers to ensure an excellent patient experience.
Graduation from an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology required. OB/Gyn ultrasound experience preferred but not required. Current ARMDS or eligible for certification, required at time of hire. Registered or eligible in OB/GYN Ultrasound. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare. Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.
