FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Moore Regional Hospital is currently seeking a full time Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology Team!
Will be responsible for implementing an accurate physical model for routine clinical dose calculation. Will measure, analyze and implement beam data for clinical use. Will ensure beam data's accuracy and verify consistent and accurate implementation for dose calculation system. Will assist with the implementation of new equipment and participate in QA activities. Must be able to operate in a fast-paced, technical hospital environment.
MS or Ph.D. in Medical physics required. Five (5)years of experience in clinical radiotherapy physics required.
Certification by the ABR, ABMP or CCPM required
Experience with Varian, Mosaiq, and Pinnacle treatment suite required. Training on BrainLab ExacTrac, iPlan and Varian Brachyvision are also preferred. The ability to plan, treat, and QA IMRT, VMAT, HDR, SRS and SBRT patients is a must. Must have clinical physics expertise as well as being able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
