The Manager, Special Procedures supervises and schedules the Special Procedures technical staff. Teaches the technical staff and residents special procedures techniques, ensures the quality of examination performed by technical staff and coordinates scheduling of examinations with referring physicians and radiologists. Maintains inventory controls, equipment repairs and quality control equipment file, logging downtime, PM's and related problems. Manages employees in a firm, fair and consistent manner to ensure that duties are performed efficiently and accurately. Supervises the computer scheduling in cooperation with the Supervisor of Patient Services. Maintains and prioritizes the employee work schedule, attendance and payroll records. Ensures state, Joint Commission, and all regulatory requirements are met.
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Non-Degree Program: Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program. (Required)
1 Year experience in a supervisory position. (Required)
5 Years of experience in Radiology. (Required)
General Experience in special procedures (CT, MRI, or Ultrasound) (Preferred)
ARRT - Amer Reg Radiologic Technlgst (Required)
RT(R) - Reg Technologist (R) (Required)
Child Abuse & FBI clearances required
