Inova Hospital Systems is searching for a Rad Tech in the Rockville, Maryland area. We are looking for someone to provides high quality imaging using various modalities for endovascular angiography examination. The Rad tech will collaborate with team to collect data pre- and post-procedure, and prepares patients for procedures in CVIR. The right candidate will safely and competently operates all radiographic, processing and inventory equipment in CVIR. Patient Advocate. Acts as a liaison between physician, family, and other interdepartmental units. As part of the CVIR team, utilizes the laboratories efficiently and safely. Quality Assurance. Participates with team in unit assignment quality assurance projects.
Job duties include:
Performing health screenings to include blood draws, drug screens, pulmonary function testing, EKGs, and audio and vision testing.
Takes x-ray images for occupational health and workers' compensation related visits.
Triaging workers' compensation patients and preparing them to be seen by the provider.
Assists with follow-up and outcomes reports within the context of corporate occupational health and wellness programs.
Monitors charts for pending medical reports; reviews all charts for completion and readiness to mail to the employer.
Verifies procedures completed by recording test completion in the occupational health database; scans forms as required.
