The Radiology Mammography Technologist is a professional who assesses, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates patient care activities. He/she has clinical and/or functional knowledge of position for which they are accountable either directly or indirectly through delegation of tasks.
Registered or registry eligible. Forty hours of mammography education required.
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the Registry Board of The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current Licensure to practice Radiology and Mammography technology in the State of Louisiana
