Radiology Imaging Associates is searching for a Part Time Mammography and X-Ray Technologist for our Sterling, Virginia office.
**Strongly preferred: Proficient experience in 3D/Tomosynthesis, Mammography, and Fluoroscopy/Walk in X-Ray.
** The shift and schedule is 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday with flexibility of working on Tuesday or Thursday.
Demonstrates professional knowledge and judgement interpreting orders and applying imaging protocols. Technologist provides patients with the utmost attention to their medical needs, their dignity, comfort and safety.
Provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards and acts as a resource to radiology students and other technologist, to ensure optimal department functions
Administers sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies and procedures, to ensure the safety of the patients.
Demonstrates radiation protection/safety for patients, staff and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines, to ensure the safety of the patients and staff.
Maintains equipment, exam rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition, to ensure the safety of the patients and employees.
Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
