Posting Department Responsible for performing high quality cardiac ultrasound procedures that require ingenuity, initiative and independent judgment on adult and pediatric patients. Performs high quality m-mode, two dimensional cardiac ultrasound, Doppler color flow studies and assists physician with transesophageal exams. Performs occasional stress echos and AV optimization procedures. May assist with department operation as directed. Must be capable of following department policies and protocol to provide quality patient care.

Posting Department Description Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary program that assists patients with cardiac and pulmonary disease in achieving and maintaining optimal health. This is accomplished through a combination of exercise and education regarding risk factors and lifestyle changes. All patients receive an initial assessment and the program is individualized by professional staff including physicians, registered nurses, exercise physiologists and other team members. A physician referral is required for participation. Most insurance companies will cover the cost of rehabilitation.
