Position Summary The Radiation Oncology department at Texas Oncology - Willowbrook is seeking a full-time, highly motivated, Medical Dosimetrist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of radiation oncology dosimetry including a high level of expertise with IMRT, VMAT, HDR and Stereotactic planning.
Texas Oncology - Willowbrook is a community-based cancer center treating 25-30 patients daily. The center is part of the Gulf Coast Region which collaborates with 3 other Texas Oncology centers. The Gulf Coast Region share a MOSAIQ database, Varian Eclipse database, RadCalc 2 nd check program with each site having its own Elekta HDR unit.
Equipment: Varian 21iX with 120 Millennium MLC and OBI (kV and CBCT), Philips 16 slice CT-Sim, Varian Eclipse v13.6, Elekta MOSAIQ v2.64 and RadCalc. The future plans include mobile PET/CT and on-site Elekta HDR with Oncentra RTPS.
