The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic/therapeutic examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. The technologist performs diagnostic imaging effectively on patient populations served in the clinic setting and exhibits superior levels of customer service. The technologist explains procedures and answers questions for the patient. The technologist demonstrates appropriate patient positioning to obtain optimum views of specified anatomy. The technologist adjusts equipment controls to set proper protocol based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines. The technologist assists the clinic physicians, when necessary. The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis.
REQUIREMENTS :Minimum Education: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or and approved Ultrasound technology program.
Minimum Experience: One year hospital experience preferred. Required Registration/License/Certification: ARRT, Abdomen and Vascular Certification preferred. BLS Certification within 90 days of employment
Additional Salary Information: Tuition Reimbursement up to $5,250/year
