Assistant Director Radiation Oncology
In this role, you will manage the daily operations of the Radiation Oncology department, with emphasis on treatment planning and treatment delivery. You will manage all administrative, technical, and clerical operations of the Radiation Oncology department to ensure quality, access, and budget goals are achieved.
At least five years of experience in the last seven years as a Radiation Therapist, specifically with radiation oncology procedures, radiation protection, radiation therapy equipment, accessories, and clinical applications as well as technological advances in radiation such as dynamic wedge and multileaf collimation
Two years of experience as a supervisor/lead in a Radiation Oncology department preferred
At least five years of experience in federal, state, and local regulatory standards
A bachelor’s degree in health care, business, or five years of experience in a supervisory or a lead role in a Radiation Oncology department with a high school diploma or GED
Certification in Radiation Therapy Technology by the State of California Department of Health Services
Registration as a Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT) issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
