The successful applicant will support clinical and compliance operations within imaging departments by performing surveys in all modalities, audit compliance activities and records, serve as faculty in CAMPEP accredited residency program, provide in-service and educational training and consultation, participate in Radiation Safety and Radiation Protocol Committee meetings, perform shielding designs, review and assist in establishing quality control programs, etc.
Recent graduate of CAMPEP accredited residency program, or Board certification is desired. Expertise in all modalities is not required. Strong communication skills, proactive work ethic, and a desire to work as part of a team are essential qualities.
Travel is required for this position; however, only approximately 1 to 3 overnight stays per month. Occasional flying is involved. Most travel is limited to the state of Texas.
