We are looking for a dynamic ultrasound technologist for the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line of Jackson Medical Group. The technologist will be responsible for both routine gynecologic and obstetric ultrasounds. Due to the high risk nature of our practice, the technologist will be expected to independently perform prenatal scans including but not limited to nuchal translucency screening, Level II detailed anatomic ultrasounds with emphasis on detection and diagnosis of complex fetal malformations, guidance for invasive procedures including amniocentesis and CVS, fetal Doppler studies and 3D/4D. The technologist will be responsible for preparation of patients for exam/procedures, completion of OB US examinations using AIUM criteria for exam content using ALARA principles, US report generation and completion of US components in EMR, and care/cleaning of US machine and US probes . We are looking for someone who will work with our front office staff and MFM providers to ensure excellent patient experience.
Graduation from an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology required.
Minimum of three (3) years experience as an Ultrasound Tech.
Current ARMDS certification required; registered or eligible in OB/GYN Ultrasound; Fetal Echo Certificate preferred.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.
